Problems runing and unistalling Big Apache

I have Problems Uninstalling and running BigApache,

When running (or trying to run the Apache server) a
messsage appears telling me that a BigApache service
was not found, and then BigApache service will close.

And when uninstalling, a Bigapache.log file or something
like that was not found...

How i solve this 2 problems ?

I installed the latest version of BigApache and typo3
module on a windows machine.
After creating a new page i am constantly getting errors
like this:

Warning: imagecreatefrompng()
[function.imagecreatefrompng]: 'D:/Develop/BigApache/A
pache/typo3/typo3temp/readPG_043ed23bbc8ce771e9ef
e37d2fa32bbe.png' is not a valid PNG file in
D:\Develop\BigApache\Apache\typo3\typo3

The file is actually created but seems to be not a valid
file, even the explorer preview tells me that. If I delete the
file manually, it is generated again with the same
problem.

... creates new service: "mysql". So there will be two
mysql services "BigApache_mysql" and one creater by
MySQL WinAdmin.

I'm a total newby. Installed the thing 1.02 on W2K.
Service doesn't start. Says "service-specific error 1"

Any ideas?

Problems with perl installation

After selecting perl to be included in the installation
the apache server doesn't start anymore if the path
contains spaces (like in 'C:\Program Files\...').

The httpd.conf file has to be edited manually and
double quotes have to be inserted to surround the
filename in the include statement.

mysql root password for all hosts

Hi,

I´m running another host name then localhost
on my workstation. When I tried to open the typo3
testsite I wasn`t allowed to connect to the database.

The problem: the root user for all hosts haven`t got the
password. After changing it, it runs.

Hi,

I tried to uninstall bigapache and I was told, that it was
OK.

After I´d a look in the install directory all files where still
there and the mysql and tomcat service too.

wrong mysql Database for Typo3

Hi,

I found another small mistake.

The Typo3 installing Script ist changing the Typo3
localconf file.

The user and passwort where change sucessfull. The
Database is changed to "mysql", also it must be typo3.

Hi,

I´ve just installed the great solution Big Apache.

I make the complett installation including Tomcat.

After I installed Typo3 too, I realizied that the Tomcat
Alias ist missing in the httpd.conf.

I´m not sure if it get lost, while installing Typo3 or it
wasn`t there anytime. But it isn`t there.
