&lt;p&gt;I've been experimenting with PythonNET and i found a problem when trying to invoke methods with keywords arguments. It was throwing an exception with the message: "TypeError: &amp;lt;method&amp;gt; keywords must be strings". I found out it is not possible to pass a PyDict with PyStrings, because these are unicode and it seems that python doesn't like unicode strings for keyword arguments.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The solution to the problem was to create another PyString class using true ansi strings. I've added the class file as an attachment.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I'm using Python 2.5.4 (win32).&lt;/p&gt;
