exec export problem

I can't set a shell variable using the shell command
export via an "exec" in Jacl 1.3.1. It works fine in
Jacl 1.2.6. Is this a regression in Jacl 1.3.1 and
1.3.2?

Example on Unix environment:

I used "exec export X=y" in Jacl 1.3.1 and 1.3.2 and
got the following error:

couldn´t execute "export": no such file or directory
while executing "exec export X=y"

I need a distributable TclBlend binary for Windows
based servers that does not rely on bat files to locate
the system JVM but rather locates the JVM directly from
"C:\Tcl\bin\tclsh.exe". The current makefile rules
would have to be changed so that the JVM classpath
variables are hard coded to point to an existing JVM
embedded in the TclBlend distro. TclBlend would use
it's own JVM located in an install subdirectory rather
then the system JVM. Sun allow re-distribution of the
Java runtime libraries so licensing is not an issue.
The immediate Java functionality requirement is remote
database connection using JDBC and remote socket
connection to Java application servers using the JMX
administration API. The Distro must be capable of
running regular Tcl Packages such as HTTP and Expect as
well as the Java extension. It would be nice if the
distro was shipped with an install tool like
InstallJammer(http://wiki.tcl.tk/15286) but a zip file
would suffice. I am willing to fund this project. Can
the Tclblend Development Team please provide a cost
estimate for development work.

Hi there,

It would be good to create accessor methods for
Interp.resultCode, Interp.errorCode, Interp.errorString.

This would allow enclosing applications to catch
TclException with a completion code of TCL.RETURN and
then see whether the return was due to error. This
would allow the application to display/propogate the
error condition that was generated by the return.

tar files for release requested

could someone release tcljava package tar files
occasionally to the sf.net projects page? For those
behind firewalls, this is the primary way that software
gets downloaded; without releases, this software can't
be used.
