<div class="markdown_content"><p>Hi Sean,<br/> i'm using zipdiff to compare two zip file and trying to get the actual output.</p> <p>But what happens is, it shows some files are different, even though they are identical when I compared using beyond compare<br/> Have attached the actual source zip file for your reference.</p> <p>Step 1:<br/> If we compare the zip file as it is. It will highlight that there are differences in pom.properties. Which are valid difference.<br/> Step 2:<br/> If we compare the zip files after excluding pom.properties using regex. We still see differences. Which is not correct.</p> <p>Please advise how to handle and get the correct output. If required, I can execute some script on top of zipdiff to get the desired output (eg. 1. Run zipdiff, 2. Execute sh script on top of it. 3. Execute md5, etc)</p> <p>have attached<br/> 1. zipdiff step1 log<br/> 2. zipdiff step2 log<br/> 3. zipdiff commands<br/> 4. artifacts for (file1 and file2)</p> <p>Pls help and thanks in advance </p></div>

My java -version in Windows in <br /> 1.4.2_09-b05.<br /> On UNIX my java -version is 1.3.1</p> <p>And when I run the command:<br /> java -jar zipdiff.jar -file1 abc.ear file2 efg.ear</p> <p>I get the error:<br /> Exception in thread "main" <br /> java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: <br /> java/lang/CharSequence</p> <p>thanks,<br /> samuel.griffith@fidelity.com</p></div>
