GeographicLib is a small C++ library for: geodesic and rhumb line calculations; conversions between geographic, UTM, UPS, MGRS, geocentric, and local cartesian coordinates; gravity (e.g., EGM2008) and geomagnetic field (e.g., WMM2020) calculations.

A web based Metadata Catalog Server for data description and discovery. Supports both generic and geospatial data discovery. It implements international standards (e.g. ISO19115/19139/19119, ISO19115-3, DCAT-AP, CSW 2.0, OGC API Records). It originates from the United Nations and is used by many governments as geoportal software. Active development and discussion takes place on GitHub and OSGeo Discourse. OpenSeaMap's goal is to add nautical and tourism information a sailor could be interested in to OSM (OpenStreetMap) and to present it in a pleasing way. Those include beacons, buoys and other seamark and port information.

OSGB Web Map Tools is a set of software code and installation instructions that will enable web developers to produce dynamic mapping web sites using Ordnance Survey map data on the internet.

ArgooMap is an online, map-based discussion forum, which allows participants to reference their contributions to geographic locations. This project helps to digitize field data for a certain Bird Census method. Namely, bird census based on personal inspection or small (~10 km^2) regions with recording birds' position and behaviour on paper. This project makes it easy to annotate such field data and to make this data available for statistical analysis.

BizGEO is an open source platform developed to provide a simple interface for geographical data collection and data storage. BizGEO is integrated with a standard open source map server (GeoServer) to form an integrated GIS data collection suite. BizGEO is made up of three main components; BizGEOServer which is a facility for managing data by organising them in projects; BizGEOApp, a mobile app which is being used by the field users to collect data through set of defined forms, and GeoServer which manages and publishes the data using open standards.
