great app, works nicely.

Most important for me: you only activate what you need: lighter = faster. I'd recommend installing just the bare minimum of optional packages at first. Note: I have it installed on MAMP and MAPP stacks and on Ubuntu server with Postgres. It's relatively easy to modify the templates and CSS to make it look completely custom. Also, very easy to translate. Very flexible system geared for speed.

This is just so much more than a wiki ! And the new installer in version 2.7 works nicely, even on a windows server. A fantastic tool for home and office. Also for multilingual sites, you are directed automatically with the page in your language if it exists ! No need for separate servers. On the negative side I would point at the outdated technical documentation. It is really not obvious to understand how the customisation features can be used.

2.6.1 and 2.7 didn't install on wamp... lost interest on this cms.

It has a steepish learning curve for the casual site operator, but bitweaver really is a great CMS. I feel that the biggest hurdle to wider adoption is the fact that out of the box bitweaver has far more features that most folk are ready to face.
