Needed it to remove some noise that audacity could not remove. It quite well did the job. Free GNU software, what else? A bit complicate for basic users and a better help file would help, but Excellent Quality/Price ratio :D. And not only because it's free.

GCV v0.21-19 installed from Mint 18 repo Python 2.7.12 When I click on "How to use" it opens a blank help screen which then goes into a blind loop. I Cannot terminate it at this point, and in fact can not even Kill it! Had to reboot 3x in order to kill this. Once this is fixed, I would be happy to try running the program, but am uninstalling for now & staying with Audacity. Possibly better to install from source rather than repo?
