mtap2 produces Datasette tape archive files from Commodore 64, VIC-20 and C16 tapes. Alternatively, tape files may be recorded back on physical tape. The tape files will be stored in .TAP format suitable for use with true tape emulation on classical computer emulators like CCS64, VICE and YAPE.
