Companies and enterprises seeking a solution to protect all proprietary data on notebooks and desktop

About DriveCrypt

DRIVECRYPT securely and easily protects all proprietary data on notebooks and desktop computers 100% of the time without users having to think about security. Any organization, from a small company to a large international firm with thousands of users in the field, can effectively protect business plans, client lists, product specifications, confidential corporate memos, stock information, and much more with this disk encryption product. As data is read from the hard disk, DRIVECRYPT automatically decrypts the data before it is loaded into memory. When data is written back to the hard disk, it is automatically re-encrypted. The disk encryption/decryption process is completely transparent to the user or any application program because the data is processed by an operating system extension, "on the fly" as it transfers back and forth between the hard disk and memory. Consequently, users don't need to remember to decrypt or re-encrypt their data, or change the normal operation of the PC.

    "Excellent "

Pros: Reliable, rock stable, fast (no noticeable encryption/decryption lag) and completely transparent in use.
Many different encryption schemes to choose from.
Very difficult to make brute force attacks
Low level password input (optional) to prevent key loggers from sniffing your password.
    Traveler edition included.
Lots of useful features and options, too many to mention here.
    Reasonable price.
Excellent support, both technical and for other issues.

Cons: The activation/deactivation system (you need to deactivate and reactivate to move the program to another PC) can be a bit complex to figure out at first, but they have done a good job making it as user friendly as possible.

Overall: Been using DriveCrypt for data disks and other media for over 23 years now, apart from a couple of minor bugs in early versions I've never had any issues or lost any data when using it, despite numerous Windows crashes and issues over the years. In my experience the only thing that really can cause loss of data is defective disks or other media, and of course, that you lose your password or whatever method you use to unlock your data.

I've tried many other solutions but none of them have been able to match DriveCrypt in stability, reliability and ease of use. Once a disk/partition has been encrypted it works like any other disk/partition in any respect, and apart from having to enter your key when you boot up or restart (not necessary when awaking system from hibernate or sleep) you won't notice your disks/partitions are encrypted at all.
